Press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA that Bagirov Bakhtiyar Alisa, who was previously sentenced over fraud, deceived Baku resident Ismayilov Namig Rahim by promising to employ him at “ASAN Service” center allegedly to be opened under the Ministry of National Security. For this, first, Bagirov took AZN 2 500 from him, then AZN 3 800 for the completion of construction works at the center.
Bagirov also abused the confidence of Valiyev Niyazi Shaig and swindled him of AZN 65 000 under the pretext of helping his sister Ahmadova Aygun Shaig to be appointed as assistant judge at the Supreme Court.
Criminal case has been launched on the fact on article 178.3.2 (swindling) of the Criminal Code.
