The committee said in a statement that among the detained were foreign citizens, particularly from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Egypt and Afghanistan.
“Ten of the detained people had forged documents, 20 had no documents at all and six were previously subjected to deportation from Russia,” the statement said.
The criminal case is being investigated under “public calls to terrorist activity or public justification of terrorism” and “inciting hatred or enmity and humiliation of human dignity”. If these charges are confirmed, they will be imprisoned for seven years.
