Elchin Behbudov told APA that they met with 12 persons there.
“I met with administrator of “Chirag” hotel Emin Shamsadinov, his acquaintance Elmaddin Mammadov and 10 residents of Ismayilli who were detained over the incident in Ismayilli region. Emin Shamsadinov and Elmaddin Mammadov face charges under article 221 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. Emin Shamsadinov admitted his guilt. He said he was drunken when it happened. Elmaddin Mammadov did not admit his guilt. He said Emin Shamsaddinov was attacked and he went to help him.
Ismayilli residents did not admit their guilt. We examined them, did not reveal any fact of beating. The detainees did not complain of the detention conditions or treatment,” he said.
