APA reports that the message on protest was shared on social networks by a group of young people.
The action aimed at protesting against the recent incidents in Ismayilli region.
The police took the control of the area, as the protest was unauthorized by Baku City Mayor’s Office.
First it was planned to hold the protest in the Fountains Square, later a group of political activists chanted various slogans such as “Support to Ismayilli region” and “Freedom” at Sahil Park and National Seaside Park (Boulevard).
Emin Milli, Turgut Gambar, Intigam Aliyev, Shahvalad Chobanoghlu, Malahat Nasibova, Khadija Ismayil and the other protesters were detained by police. The police noted some journalists didn’t wear Press vest and chanted slogans.
