Elnur Kalantarov added that member of Judo Federation Executive Committee Vugar Alakbarov trains Azerbaijani national team in Ismayilli and other regions. He said the members of Azerbaijan judo team, other sports teams sometimes stayed in that hotel, but neither the members of the federation, nor Vugar Alakbarov were at the hotel when the incident happened.
As regards the fact that head of Ismayilli region executive authority Nizami Alakbarov does not know who is the owner of the hotel, Elnur Kalantarov said as the hotel was rented out to another company, it is natural that head of executive authority does not know that person.
The acts of hooliganism of administrator of “Chirag” hotel, drunken Emil Shamsaddinov and his relative Elmaddin Mammadov, who damaged private property, caused mass incident in Ismayilli region on January 23. As a result of this, a group of people gathered at the site burnt “Chirag” hotel and the various cars. According to their illegal actions, Emil Shamsaddinov and Elmaddin Mammadov were brought to account and sentenced to pretrial detention.
