A man born in 1953 was hospitalized at the Abbas Sahhat Hospital under the Ganja City United Hospital at around 03:30 on August 14 following an explosion in the territory of Sariyel village of Kalbajar district, TABIB said this in response to APA's inquiry.
“The patient, who was diagnosed with amputation of the right ankle, was provided with the necessary medical care. His treatment is currently ongoing, and his condition is moderately serious,” the statement said.

A mine explosion has occurred in the liberated Kalbajar district, APA reports.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office and ANAMA issued a statement in this regard.
According to the statement, Kamran Shukur oglu Suleymanov, born in 1953, a resident of Gaynag village of Tartar district, was injured as a result of a mine explosion while grazing livestock in an area that had not been cleared of mines.
An investigation into the incident is underway at the Kalbajar District Prosecutor's Office.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office once again called on citizens to comply with safety rules, pay close attention to mine warning signs, not touch suspicious objects, not enter unfamiliar areas, and not interfere with areas where fencing activities are being carried out.
