Investigations have been launched regarding the employees of Russian law enforcement agencies who conducted operations against Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg and committed atrocities and violence against them, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
The investigations are being conducted by the first department of the regional office of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk region.
The investigation concerns the facts of violence committed against Azerbaijanis and the acts committed by the local law enforcement officers who carried out this violence. The details of the investigation and the ongoing inquiries have not been disclosed.
