The next eruption has been recorded at the “Bozdag-Guzdek” mud volcano located on the Absheron Peninsula, APA reports.
The eruption was recorded by digital stations of the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
The eruption began at 22:26 local time and lasted six minutes. It was characterized by a single phase. According to data from mud volcano monitoring stations, the source depth at the Bozdag-Guzdek mud volcano was determined to be 3.0 kilometers, the duration of the eruption was 6 minutes, and the released energy was calculated at 6.32×10⁶ joules.
