A body has been discovered by fishermen in the port of Anzali, Iran, in the direction of Bandar Anzali, APA's southern bureau reports.
It is suspected that the body found belongs to Mahmud Ibayev, a fisherman who went missing at sea in Lankaran.
The photo of the body has been shared on Iranian social media. Family members state that, based on the clothing on the body, it is Mahmud Ibayev.
Mahmud Ibayev's brother, Rashad Ibayev, told APA in his statement that, based on the photo, the body found belongs to his brother. He asked for assistance from the relevant authorities to bring the body to the country.
Note that on January 13 of this year, fishermen Mahmud Ibayev, born in 1984, and Nazim Abbasov, born in 1968, went missing.
On February 2, the body of Nazim Abbasov was found.
The search for Mahmud Ibayev, born in 1984, was still ongoing.
