On January 13, searches are being continued for fishermen - Mahmud Ibayev Abdulali (born in 1984) and Nazim Abbasov Samad (born in 1968) - presumed missing in the Caspian Sea near Siyavar village, Lankaran city, according to the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
To expand the search area and intensify operations, a helicopter from the Aviation Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been involved in the search and rescue operation alongside rescuers from the Special Risky Rescue Service.

The search for fishermen missing at sea in Lankaran is ongoing, APA's southern bureau reports.
According to the report, a helicopter has been deployed to search for fishermen Mahmud Abdulali Ibayev, born in 1984, and Nazim Samad Abbasov, born in 1968, who went missing in the Siyavar village of Lankaran district. The helicopter began searching at around 16:20.
Currently, searches are ongoing in the Lankaran and Astara directions of the Caspian Sea.
