The explosion that occurred on June 26 at the Azerbaijanfilm studio named after Jafar Jabbarly caused no damage to the building and no injuries were reported. An official statement will be issued following the investigation, the studio told APA.
The explosion took place in a long-unused warehouse located at the rear of the facility. Representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, law enforcement agencies, and the Ministry of Culture are working at the scene to determine the exact cause of the incident. Safety measures are being taken by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and other relevant agencies, with technical experts brought in to the area.
It was noted that the studio continues its daily operations. Decorations for film sets are being built, and castings are underway. Currently, shooting is ongoing for the film "Molla Nasreddin — A Friend of My Hard Days," directed by Vagif Mustafayev. Set preparations are in progress for the upcoming shooting days.
