The detention period of Adnan Ahmadzade, the former deputy head of SOCAR’s Investment Department, who is accused in a criminal case initiated by the State Security Service (SSS/DTX), has been extended, APA reports.
The submission regarding this matter was reviewed at the Sabail District Court, and a decision was made.
According to the decision, the pre-trial detention measure chosen for Adnan Ahmadzade has been extended by two months.
Note that Adnan Ahmadzade was detained in September last year as a result of an operation conducted by the State Security Service.
He is accused of sabotage against economic security and embezzlement on an especially large scale.
