As a result of the implementation of the Amnesty Act, 878 individuals have been released from conditional sentences, said Namig Aliyev, Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Non-Criminal Prosecution Proceedings of the Prosecutor General’s Office, APA reports.
He noted that 826 of these individuals were those conditionally sentenced to imprisonment, released on parole, or whose sentences had been deferred, while 52 were persons conditionally sentenced to other types of punishment, released on parole, or whose sentences had been deferred.
