Haji Mammadov: Javadaga is criminal but he is at liberty now
Aydin Rzayev, the chief of Baku Main Police Board Department Fighting Organized Crimes gave testimony on the episode of Zamire Hajiyeva’s kidnapping. He said that he was questioned in NSM. Then Mammadov asked him if he asked Javadaga where he heard the information from. Rzayev answered he did not asked Sultanov any question about it, saying he knew that Sultanov will not tell him nothing.
Then Mammadov talked about Sultanov.
“I have known Javadaga for a long time. I gave him bribes. Javadaga could not call my name when he informed Jahangir Hajiyev about Zakir. That is why, he called my former chief’s name. But I prove that BMPB did not know about my gang. Javadaga is criminal too but he is at liberty now. And I hope that he will be arrested too. Only the deputy chief of Khetai police department Namiq Muradov was about to uncover my crimes but failed through lack of facts, Mammadov said.
Then Nasorv gave testimony.
“Nasirov does not want to speak about operations in the court. But he can speak about everything. If I am guilty, I am ready to serve my punishment, he said.
Rzayev said he did not tell Zakir Nasirov that Sultanov told Mammadov about Nasirov’s kidnapping Zamire Hajiyeva. Then Adil Ismayilov solicited and said that there is controversy between what he said during the investigation and in the court and asked to repeat the facts again. Rzayev told to the investigator that the talk happened on February 11 in 2005 in Hajiyev’s office, but in the court he said that it happened on the day Zamire was kidnapped on February 10. Rzayev said that he was called to the meeting in IM the day after Zamire was kidnapped.
“Maharram Aliyev, Javadaga Sultanov, Ramil Usubov, Vilayet Eyvazov and Zakir Nasirov participated in the meeting too. Then I went to the office, after 4-5 hours Zakir phoned me and asked about the letter sent to Jahangir and asked for a copy of it, he said.
Z. Nasirov said that Rzayev did not participate in the meeting held in IM.
Then Mestan Novruzova gave testimony on the episode of her daughter Dilber Novruzova’s murder.
“I was questioned on the case before. I have been in Kazakhstan for two weeks. When I came to Azerbaijan I was told that two Chechens died together with Dilber in the accident. Dilber did not have family and I did not know about her relation with anyone, she said.
The trial will be continued on the second half of the day. /APA/
