Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin to discuss the settlement of Nagorno Garabagh conflict

Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin wil discuss initial results of the Russian year in Azerbaijan. The presidents will also discuss preparations for summit of CIS presidents to be held in Minsk on November 28. Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin are expected to discuss the situation in South Caucasus, the process of settlement of Nagorno Garabagh conflict, the ways of regional security, topical international questions. Special representative of Russian Foreign Ministry Mikhail Kamynin said Baku and Moscow have regular relations.
“Azerbaijan and Russian presidents met several times this year. Azerbaijani year in Russia was held last year; analogous events in Azerbaijan will be over in December. One of the important questions between the two countries is the improvement of economic-trade relations and the cooperation in the field of oil and energy. We are cooperating in transportation of Azerbaijani oil through Russia and gas export from Russia to Azerbaijan,� he said. Mikhail Kamynin said during nine months of this year trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia increased by 50% compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
“According to the experts’ accounts the trade turnover will reach $1.5bn,� Mikhail Kamynin said. /APA/
