Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has sent aid to sufferers in Van earthquake, APA reports citing Turkish media. Caravan of held consisting of 4 TIR vehicles have today been delivered to the earthquake zone.
Consul General of Azerbaijan in Kars Ayhan Suleymanov told journalists that 60 tons of aid was sent to Van via the caravan of help sent from Nakhchivan. Total cost of these aids is $170 thousand.
Touching upon bank account opened in Nakhchivan for the purpose of help for Van, Consul General noted underscored that $55 thousand funds had already been collected and the funds would be delivered to sufferers of quake in the coming days.
