Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. According to the instruction given by President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan sent next shipment of aid to Turkey’s quake-hit region of Van. The aid is sent by vehicle convoy this time, the ministry reported on its website.
The convoy will deliver 1000 tents, 40 generators, 20 kitchen sets and more than 2000 blankets to the disaster zone.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has already sent 250 tents, 700 sleeping-bags, 3000 blankets, 2000 sleeping sets and two field kitchens to the region. The tent camp will be installed and opened for the people this evening.
Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working together with their Turkish colleagues in the disaster zone now.
