Baku Main Police Office and Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office issue joint statement on murder committed in Binagadi district

The statement says that Sungayeva Pirdas Hasanhuseyn was found dead in her flat in A. Geraybeyli street, 37, Binagadi district at 14.00 on October 13. Numerous injuries were detected on the body. The representatives of Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office, Binagadi District Prosecutorâ€™s Office, Baku Main Police Office, Binagadi District Police Office, medical expert examined the body and the site, material evidence was taken from the site, other urgent measures were taken. Binagadi district prosecutorâ€™s office has launched criminal case on the fact on article 120.2.4, investigation group has been set up.

As a result of the urgent measures, it was found out that Ahmadov Javid Vagif, 23, living in A. Geraybeyli street, 37, had committed the murder. Javid Ahmadov was detained. He admitted his guilt during the initial investigation and said he had committed the crime together with his fellow countryman Kamalov Sabuhi Elman. The stolen jewelries, which had been sold, were returned. Measures are being continued, it is being investigated whether other persons were involved or not.
