Elchin Aliyev: I do not believe that Haji Mammadov killed Fatulla Huseynov and Rovshan Aliyev
Azerbaijan International Bank Nesimi branch vice-president Elchin Aliyev answered lawyer Adil Ismayilov’s questions. He said that he does not believe Haji Mammadov to killed AFFA vice-president Fatulla Huseynov, Monitor magazine editor-in-chief Elmar Huseynov and criminalist Rovshan Aliyev.
“Rovshan Aliyev was my uncle’s friend. I do believe he can kill his friend,� Aliyev said.
Then Adil Ismayilov asked questions to Haji Mammadov. He confessed that he killed Fatulla Huseynov and Rovshan Aliyev.
Adil Ismayilov solicited for reading Elchin Aliyev’s testimony to the investigation, because he refused to answer the lawyer’s questions about the murdering of Azer Ismayilov. The judge met the solicitation. Then Elton Giliyev, the lawyer for Elchin Aliyev solicited for closed trial, because the testimony was about his client’s family too. The judge met the solicitation. The trial continued without the participation of the defendant’s relatives and journalists.
