Illegal businessmen cripple communication and information technology ministry

Citizen of Azerbaijan Sheikhov Farid Fakhraddin criminally conspired with a Russian citizen, whose identity is investigated, and launched illegal business without license.

In March 2010 Farid Sheikhov joined the special technical equipment of Azercell Telecom for one-way communication in mobile operator network creating unlicensed international communication service. Illegal international phone communication created by Farid Sheikhov and others caused 118 000 AZN damage on the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

The Ministry of National Security prevented similar crime committed by the Turkish citizens Yilmaz Yakup and Mihalic Harun and others in August, 2010. They caused 23 000 AZN damage on the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

All of them are accused in illegal business causing large amount of damages and are detained in pre-trial detention.
