Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Criminal case has been launched on the blast in Binagadi district Road Construction and Repair Department, Baku, assistant prosecutor of Binagadi Besti Sultanrashidgizi told APA. She said criminal case had been launched on article 314.2 (negligence committed on imprudence and entailed death of the victim or other heavy consequences) of the Criminal Code.
Blast occurred in the two-storey building in Binagadi settlement. It was followed by fire. The building was burned down. The guard of the building Khoshbakht Babayev died under the rubbles. The rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations pulled Babayev’s body and a few hours later.
Gas leak reportedly caused the blast.
