Criminal case launched on 3 officials of prosecutorâ€™s office for serious law violations in Azerbaijan

Press service of the Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office told APA that 6 officials had been dismissed from prosecutorâ€™s offices and criminal cases on 3 officials of prosecutorâ€™s office had been launched for serious law violations.

Organization-analytic and Personnel departments of Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office, as well as Republic Military, appropriate bodies of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku City Prosecutorâ€™s Office, all heads of the structures and subordinate prosecutors had been demanded to continue the struggle line against the negative cases of the officials, increase service, executive and work discipline principles.

Several expedient measures were taken in 2009 on considering citizensâ€™ appeals and correct organization of their reception, elimination of shortcomings. More than 38,5 thousand applications and complaints of citizens demanding restoration of violated rights, as well as 28,172 applications and complaints at Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office had been received and the solution of 81 appeals entered â€œHot Lineâ€ Connection Center had been provided its solution in appropriate rules.
