Crimea - APA. The criminal case of Eduard Arakelyan and Andrey Ganin, who had destroyed the memorial erected in honor of Azerbaijani warriors in Sevastopol in October last year, is under consideration of Balaklavsk district, Sevastopol. Chairman of the Azerbaijani community in Crimea Rahim Humbatov told APA that Balaklavsk court would consider the case. The preliminary court hearing will be on April 23, Tatyana Bukharova is the chairman of this court, Chairman of the Azerbaijani community in Crimea Rahim Humbatov told APA. Note that, Georgian citizen Eduard Arakelyan and Andrey Ganin had destroyed the memorial to 77th infantry division of Azerbaijani warriors in Sevastopol, divided the iron board into pieces and sold to the point collecting metal waste.Criminal case has been launched on the fact of articles- embezzlement of property and intentional damaging of State property- of the Criminal Code. They are being held in Sevastopol detention facility. If proved, they will be sentenced up to five years in jail. Noted memorial hasn’t been restored yet.
