Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ogtay Asadov has received Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the Russian Liberal Democratic Party, Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The parliament told APA that O. Asadov said at the meeting that Azerbaijan-Russia relations are at high level, cooperation will continue in the future too.
The speaker noted that Russian language is respected in our country and Russian-language schools operate in Azerbaijan.
In turn, V. Zhirinovsky said that Russia-Azerbaijan relations develop and high-level meetings are often held. He noted that there are great potential for more development of relations between our countries: “Azerbaijan-Russia relations should be at higher level”.
Zhirinovsky stated that Azerbaijan and Russia are loyal partners since Heydar Aliyev’s power: “I’m sure that his partnership will be permanent”.
