Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatovca - APA. Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Cosgun has commented on the resolution adopted by the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations regarding so-called "armenian genocide", APA reports. The Ambassador told journalists that this decision is unimportant.
The Ambassador said that politically assessing the issue is wrong: “It is the work of historians and the history must not be distorted, falsified in this way. This decision does not have any meaning.”
He said that everyone would be aware of any step to be taken by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
