APA reports that it was reflected in the brochure on the budget support to the partner country that was released by the EU ahead of this month's Eastern Partnership summit.
The EU allocated €14 million to support energy reform programme (2008-12) and €16 million to support justice reform (2009-14) in Azerbaijan.
As a result of these reforms, State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, 10 regional justice departments have been established, national plans were adopted on renewable energy sources, courses were organized to improve the qualification of Academy of Justice specialists, professional education courses were offered for prisoners in Azerbaijan.
The EU allocated € 39 million to Armenia, € 54 million to Georgia, € 155 million to Moldova and € 132 million to Ukraine within the Eastern Partnership.
The third Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius will be held on 28-29 November.
