CIS Council of Foreign Ministers holds meeting in Moscow - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED - PHOTOSESSION

First, the ministers met behind closed doors, then in the presence of delegations.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov informed about the closed-door meeting. He said the recent developments in CIS countries and Ukraine were discussed at the meeting.

Afterwards, Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makey, who will preside over the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers this year, made a speech.

He publicized priorities of Belarus during its presidency.

Following this Sergei Lavrov, Sergei Lebedev and Vladimir Makey held a joint press briefing.

Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. The meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of CIS countries has today kicked off in Moscow.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is also attending the closed-door meeting.

The meeting will focus on a number of issues, as well as the ongoing developments in Ukraine. A resolution will be signed at the meeting.

Following the meeting, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev will hold a press briefing.
