Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. The informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) was held in New York.
The meeting was attended by foreign ministers from Azerbaijan, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
A Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov.
The sides exchanged views on enhancing the efficiency of BSEC and prospects of further development and discussed BSEC-EU ties. The positive dynamics of multilateral development within BSEC, the importance of the implementation of the Black Sea Ring Highway and other great regional projects were emphasized during the meeting.
