Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy holds Argentina Day

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy has today held Argentina Day.

APA reports that the event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina was attended by Hafiz Pashayev, ADA rector, Deputy Foreign Minister, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzadeh, Argentine Ambassador to Azerbaijan Carlos Riva, other officials, local and foreign students.

Addressing the event, Pashayev spoke about the development of relations between the two countries for 20 years. He noted that such events will further strengthen the cultural, political, social and economic ties between Azerbaijan and Argentina.

Following this, Noemi Rabbia, a master’s degree student at ADA and Thomas Gerbasio, Argentine graduate of ADA, talked about their countries. Slides and videos on Argentina’s history, political processes, socio-economic development, national culture and art were also presented.

ADA, the University of Buenos Aires and the National University of Rosario signed a memorandum of understanding. It was said that both universities have the conditions for the exchange of students. At the same time, the embassy organized a photo exhibition.
