Azerbaijan is introducing mutual visa exemptions with six countries for holders of diplomatic and service passports, APA reports.
The relevant documents were discussed at today’s plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
They are as follows:
- Draft law on approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Angola on mutual exemption of holders of diplomatic and service passports from visa requirements.”
- Draft law on approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain on exemption of holders of diplomatic passports from visa requirements.”
- Draft law on approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Djibouti on exemption of holders of diplomatic and service passports from visa requirements.”
- Draft law on approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Dominican Republic on exemption of holders of diplomatic and official/service passports from visa requirements.”
- Draft law on approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau on mutual exemption of holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports from visa requirements.”
- Draft law on approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Suriname on exemption of holders of diplomatic and service passports from visa requirements.”
At the same plenary session, the draft law on approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Maldives on mutual exemption of holders of ordinary (general) passports from visa requirements” was also discussed.
The draft laws were put to a vote and adopted in a single reading.
