Elmar Mammadyarov receives PACE President

Baku-APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) LluÃs Maria de Puig, Foreign Ministryâ€™s Press Service told APA.
The PACE President noted that he familiarized himself with current situation in the country, observed Azerbaijanâ€™s devotion to European values and its resolve for strengthening activity in this direction. He stressed possibility of solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the framework of Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity and added that adoption of Resolution reproved position of PACE. Minister Elmar Mammadyarov expressed his gratitude for position of PACE and added that Armenia should have more interests in the solution to the conflict. Mammadyarov noted that Azerbaijan observed the European values and would contribute to the development of cooperation with the Council of Europe in various fields. The meeting has also envisaged other issues of mutual interest.
