A number of intergovernmental documents to be signed during the official visit of Russian President to Azerbaijan

The Ambassador didnâ€™t make public the documentsâ€™ titles. He said Medvedev would be accompanied by the large delegation of the heads of different organizations. The ambassador emphasized the intensification of the relations over the past 7-8 years and said the relations became more active in recent months particularly. He said that the visit of Dmitriy Medvedev in the two- month period of his presidency would create great hopes for more activation of the relations. Answering the questions about the mutual broadcasting of TV channels, the Ambassador said it was not ruled out that the issue would be discussed at the 2-3-hour negotiations. The ambassador answered the question about the discussing of the issues of Russian citizens living in Uryanoba and Khrakhoba villages of Azerbaijanâ€™s Khachmaz Region: â€œI am not sure in that because the President of Dagestan visited Azerbaijan last week discussed this issue and ways of solution to this problem are searched nowâ€. The ambassador said solution to the Nagorno Karabakh problem and Gasprom proposal to purchase gas from Azerbaijan would also be discussed alongside with the bilateral relations at the meeting of the presidents.
