New ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan holds press conference

Giving information about his biography the diplomat expressed his satisfaction with his appointment. Speaking about the great opportunities of the cooperation between the two countries the ambassador said that the present level of the economic relations did not cover the real potential. He said that bilateral cooperation was possible not only in the sphere of oil and gas, but from agriculture up to sphere of cosmos.
Klimchuk said Odessa-Brodi and White Stream projects have good prospects and added that 50,000-100,000 tones of Azerbaijani oil will be refined in Ukrainian plants before Odessa-Brodi pipeline is filled with Azerbaijanâ€™s oil. The diplomat underlined that there was a need to republish â€œUkraine-Azerbaijan teaching dictionaryâ€ first published in Baku. He said he would achieve republication of this dictionary and publication of Azerbaijan-Ukraine dictionary before the 4th energy summit in Baku in November. Boris Klimchuk said 0.85ha territory had been allotted for the construction of the embassy in Fehle Avenue in Baku. Azerbaijani architects prepared the project taking into account the architecture of Ukraine.
