Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan says military cooperation between his country and Armenia is impossible

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. Islamic Republic of Iran doesnâ€™t interfere in the elections in Azerbaijan, said Naser Hamidi Zareh, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan at the press-conference on Friday. He said claims that Iran supports some opposition parties in Azerbaijan were groundless. Azerbaijani People are able to realize its intentions and it doesnâ€™t need in interference of other countries in the elections in Azerbaijan, said the ambassador. â€œPresident Ilham Aliyev states in his addresses that the presidency is a democratic way and it depends on the peopleâ€™s will that who will come to powerâ€. Touching upon the information about the military cooperation between Iran and Armenia and meeting of defense ministers of both countries, the ambassador said military cooperation between Armenia and Iran was impossible. â€œWe prefer Azerbaijan in the issue of cooperationâ€. The ambassador has also denied news about the residing of terrorist PKK leader Camil Bayik in Iran. He said only those, who committed terror and sponsored it might to spread such thoughts. â€œThere is sincere cooperation between Iran and Turkey. Where strong friendship and fraternity take place, devils appear there. We will continue our cooperation despite of thoughts of our foesâ€.
