60th anniversary of Israel State marked in Baku

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Solemn reception on the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel has been held in Baku. APA reports that prior to the reception organized by Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan exhibition â€œIsrael viewed by Azerbaijani youthâ€ was opened. Ambassador Arthur Lenk said that the theme of this yearâ€™s day of independence was the youth.
â€œThe events organized both in Israel and other places of the world are mainly connected with the youthâ€, he said.
The diplomat said that 8 Azerbaijani young people visited Israel in February and exhibited the photos taken there. Speaking about his countryâ€™s achievements within 60 years, Arthur Lenk said Israel, having no natural resources achieved great economic indicators owing to the development of science. He noted that Israel-Azerbaijan relations were the example of tolerance for the whole world.
Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Valeh Alasgarov congratulated Israeli people on the occasion of this significant day and underlined that Azerbaijan-Israel relations were developing.
