Ukrainian Ambassador ends his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received outgoing Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Stepan Volkovetski. The Ministry told APA that they had expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations.
Highly appreciating mutual understanding within the framework of international organizations, as well as GUAM, Stepan Volkovetski mentioned NATO’s Bucharest summit.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov noted that military and political reforms had been carried out within the framework of Azerbaijan’s cooperation with NATO, the first stage of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) had ended and said the cooperation would further extend.
They also touched upon the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Ukraine in May and Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko’s visit to Azerbaijan.
The Minister wished success to the ambassador in his future activity.
