Tajik and Turkmen ambassadors to Azerbaijan present credentials to Elmar Mammadyarov<font color=red>- UPDATED</font>

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Zokir Vazirov, Tajik ambassador plenipotentiary and extraordinary to Azerbaijan and Anamammad Mammadov, Turkmen ambassador to Azerbaijan have presented copies of credentials to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Foreign Ministryâ€™s Press Service told APA.
Tajik ambassador stated that reciprocal visits had increased and stressed the importance of political, economic cooperation basing on current bases of relations. Vazirov adeed that Baku-Dushanba flight would be opened soon and noted that Tajikistan had several economic interests in Azerbaijan and emphasized the cooperation on oil sectors, agriculture and bank system.
The sides exchanged views on investment, preparation of scientific personnel, military-technical cooperation, mutual Cultural Days and other issues.
Turkmen ambassador Anamammad Mammadov stressed that the two countries had the same interests for the strengthening friendly and fraternal relations and suitableness for further expansion of bilateral cooperation. He stressed that Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan had achieved several agreements during the meeting of the Presidents, mutual visits and meetings of the intergovernmental commissions. Mammadyarov stressed the importance of establishment of cooperation in energy, humanitarian, cultural, military and education spheres.
It is the first time that Tajikistan has appointed an ambassador to Azerbaijan. Embassy of Turkmenistan was in Azerbaijan in 90s of last century. Embassy of Turkmenistan was closed because of financial problem in 2001.
