MPs Ganira Pashayeva and Nazim Mammadov accompanied the ambassador.Arshad Omar Ismayil met residents and interested in their problems. Residents said that the cease –fire had been violated many times and the village had been fired by Armenians. Diplomat celebrated the holiday with residents.
After meeting, Arshad Omar Ismayil asked journalists’ questions and noted that he took pride in being in the village during the holiday.
“I am very happy that I visited Alibayli village with my family and celebrated the holiday with residents here. Iraq supported Azerbaijan and will support every time. Our country was also occupied and therefore we understand Azerbaijan well. Iraq was one of the countries voted for the resolution adopted in UN General Assembly. We hope that the conflict will be solved soon,†he said. Ambassador visited military unit and met soldiers.
