Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meets with Economy Minister of United Arab Emirates

Within the framework of his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with Minister of Economy Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri on March 19. Foreign Ministryâ€™s Press Service told APA that the ministers underlined the high-level bilateral political relations and the importance of extending the economic relations. Elmar Mammadyarov noted the possibility of cooperating within the framework of regional projects and tying Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway in the joint railway line that will be constructed in the Gulf region.
Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri touched on the restoration of flights of the countryâ€™s air transportation companies, as well as the flights of â€œEmiratesâ€ Company to Azerbaijan.
He underlined that â€œAl Ittihadâ€ Air Transportation Company could establish Baku-Abu Dhabi flight. Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri said the two countries had potential to establish a joint company in other countries and offered to include the related issue into the agenda of the next meeting of the international economic commission.
Azerbaijani side asked the United Arab Emirates to determine the members of the intergovernmental economic commission and inform Azerbaijan about it.
It was noted that these issues would broadly be discussed during the visit of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Azerbaijan.
