Ambassador noted that, Chap evi carries out very important duty.
“Opposition and independent newspapers are published in the printing-house. Moreover, analytical materials n human rights are in Ganun journal. I consider that, majority of reports is very well. It would be better, if many printing houses like Chap evi functioned and helped to the freedom of media in Azerbaijan,†she said. She noted that she is unaware of issues that were debated in the meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and US Secretary General Condoleezza Rice in Davos, Switzerland. She stated that, issues on democracy, security and energy are usually debated in such meetings. Ambassador added that, US will cooperate with international organizations and Azerbaijani government during Presidential elections to be held in Azerbaijan this year.
