Interior Minister receives new ambassador of Confederation of Switzerland to Azerbaijan

Interior Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov received newly-appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Confederation of Switzerland to Azerbaijan Alain Guidetti, the ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Ramil Usubov spoke about tense socio-political and criminogenic situation during the first years of Azerbaijanâ€™s independence, Armeniaâ€™s aggression etc. The minister noted that Azerbaijan is the ninth among CIS countries for the number of crimes per 100,000 people and added that criminogenic situation in the country is under control. Ramil Usubov said Azerbaijan suffers from Armenian terrorism and noted that over 2000 civilians died as a result of 30 terrorist actions committed by Armenians in the country. The minister underlined the necessity of joint fight against international terrorism, illicit drug turnover, human trafficking and illegal migration.
Alain Guidetti said that will do his best for the development of cooperation between the law-enforcement bodies of the two countries. /APA/
