Polish Embassy in Azerbaijan grants Schengen visas

Polish Embassy in Azerbaijan has started to grant Schengen visas as from the beginning of the year.
Consulate department of the Embassy told the APA Poland joined Schengen treaty officially on January 1 along with 8 new member countries. Moreover, those who want to visit Poland are granted Schengen visas.
The diplomat said that identification card, marriage certificate and copy of birth-certificate of children, reference and documents confirming having necessary funds should be presented except demanded documents (passport, photo, medical reference, insurance) for getting Schengen visa. The price and granting term of the visa was also changed. €60 should be paid for getting Schengen visa from Polish Embassy at present. The visas will be granted a week later after appealing to Consulate.
It was possible to get visa within a week by paying $50 beforehand. /APA/
