Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan visits Nakhichevan

The visit linked with completion of strengthening events against bird flu in Nakhichevan in the framework of project â€œGrass roots and human securityâ€ financed by Japan. Vasif Talibov,chairman of Supreme Council of Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic received the guest and spoke about relations between Azerbaijan and Japan and stated that these relations also covered the Nakhichevan too. Vasif Talibov noted that technical assistance rendered by Japan government was brought to Nakhichevan too. He stated that the equipment is used in the river-bank activities. Chairman of Nakhichevan Supreme Council stressed that there is bird migration to Nakhichevan at present, opening of high capacity laboratory in Nakhichevan will establish condition to comprehensive examination of all diseases on veterinary .Mr. Oki mentioned that Japan has rendered technical assistance to Azerbaijan since 90s and stated that he will do his best to develop bilateral relations on all spheres during his tenure expire. Ambassador was given a book and CDs on natural and historical monuments and medical enterprises of Nakhichevan and a book on Azerbaijan-Japan relations./APA/
