Ambassador: Azerbaijani President will pay official visit to Poland next year

He mentioned that the head of the state Lech Kaczynski made visit to Azerbaijan twice this year. President of Poland paid official visit to Azerbaijan in March and he attended GUAM summit in June.
â€œFollowing this, Foreign Minister and Defense Minister of Poland visited Azerbaijan in 2007. Second National Exhibition of Poland and second meeting of intergovernmental commission were held in Baku,â€ he said.
The ambassador stressed that relations between the two countries are developing dynamically.
â€œThis development is not observed only in energy sector, but in other sectors,â€ he said.
Diplomat saying that 2008 will be full of high-level visits said that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will make official visit to Poland in the first quarter of 2008, and before that visit Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will visit Warsaw. Interior Minister of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov has also been invited to Poland, third meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries will be held in Poland and 3rd National Exhibition of Poland will be organized in Baku in November.
Ambassador said that goods turnover will comprise $700 million till year end. Diplomat stressing necessity of opening direct flights between Baku and Warsaw for developing business relations said that airlines of the two countries are negotiating on opening this flight. Ambassador stressed that the flights can be organized twice a week. /APA/
