Fourth Start Students’ Film Festival will be held in Azerbaijan. The festival will be organized by Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry, Youth and Sport Ministry, Cinema Youth Cinematographers Center and University of Culture and Art. Films from CIS and European countries have been received. The Organizing Committee told APA that the festival will be held on December 18-20. Films from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Germany, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Portugal will be demonstrated in the festival. Students presented documentary, feature films and cartoons to the festival. The jury has four members, two Azerbaijani producers, one Turkish and one Iranian. The Organizing Committee said that the films admitted to the competition had won prizes in international festivals.
The opening ceremony of the festival will be held in the Union of Theater Figures and Seda Teaching Center. /APA/
