He said that he can not say assuredly that these drafts will be debated in the meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia intergovernmental commission to be held in Moscow next week.
“Concrete documents which will be debated in the meeting of the Commission have not yet been defined. The prepared documents are worked on at present. Quota has not yet been set for Azerbaijani migrants in Russia for 2008.
Mr. Istratov said that they are planning to hold meeting of joint commission on delimitation of Russia-Azerbaijan borders this year. He said that this will depend on the meeting of the experts.
“Debates are carried out on the 3 sectors of the border at present. One of them covers border with Georgia. There is no debatable issue on this field. The second area covers Samur River and it can also be solved soon. The third and the most debatable issue concerns Caspian Sea,” he said.
Ambassador touching on the restoration of bridge on Samur River and placing border guards of the two countries near bridge said that special working group on this bridge will be established after the meeting of intergovernmental commission. /APA/
