Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Norwegian Foreign Ministry sign cooperation agreement

Rector of the Academy Hafiz Pashayev and Norwegian ambassador to Azerbaijan Jon Ramberg signed the document. The sides will implement two main programs jointly due to the agreement. This program consists of module intended for 60 low and mid-level diplomats. Trainings are carried out on the first module – speech and preparation. The other modulus will be held in the theme of European Union, peace researches and Scandinavian study. The program will last till May, 2008. The second program is intended for the senior officials of Foreign Ministry and state bodies.
The first 3 modulus of the 4-modulus program “Increase of leadership ability” will be held in Baku, the last in Norway.
Rector Hafiz Pashayev said in signing ceremony that Diplomatic Academy signed cooperation agreements with Moscow State Institute of International Relations and Georgetown University of US some months ago, today’s document provides more opportunities, as it was signed between the Ministries of the two countries.
Mr. Ramberg expressed his satisfaction that Diplomatic Academy chose Norway as a partner. /APA/
