Opening of 135th season of Azeri theater to be held in Fuzuli square

State Drama Theater first organized this project while opening the season last year. After the solemn opening ceremony each theater will open the season in their temporary buildings. State Russian Drama Theater named after Samad Vurgun will open the season with Love virus on September 8.the actors of the theater and participants of Akademiya musical project will play the roles in the performance produced by Alexander Sharovski.
Mugham Theater will open the season on September 15. Director of the theater Arif Gaziyev told APA that the theaterâ€™s soloists will give concert.
Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater will open the season with â€œJealous heartsâ€ by Marat Hagverdiyev on September 15.
Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater will open the season with â€œKorogluâ€ opera by Uzeyir Hajibayov.
State Youth Theater plans to open the season on September 18, on Uzeyir Hajibayovâ€™s birthday. â€œHusband and wifeâ€ by Uzeyir Hajibayov will be staged that day.
Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre will perform â€œNatavanâ€ play. â€œChicheyimâ€ Children Theatre which is planning to open the season in early October intends to perform â€œTig-tig khanimâ€ for under ages. Though State Yug Theatre decided to open the season in early September, has not yet defined the date. Orkhan Fikratogluâ€™s play â€œTasâ€ will be performed in the opening day of the season. Gasim Nagi, Ruslan Afandi, Zumrud Bakhtiyar and Gulzar Gurbanova will play the leading parts in the performance. Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectators will perform â€œTig-tig khanimâ€ for children in the morning on September 29, â€œHaji Gambarâ€ in the evening.
Director Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre named after Abdulla Shaig Rahman Guliyev told the APA, the opening day of the building of the theatre will coincide with the opening of the season of the theatre. The opening will be held in early October and newly-prepared â€œNagillar alemindeâ€ (In the world of tales) will be performed in the theatre that day.
Irevan State Drama Theatre named after Jafar Jabbarli has not yet known when to open the season. Director of the theatre, Honoured Art Worker Iftikhar Piriyev said that the theatre troupe has to expect the other theaters due to building problem. This theatre will open the season in the stage of one of the theatres after they open the season. /APA/
