Congratulation letters of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbeyov, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, Turkey’s 9th President Suleyman Demirel and other celebrities were sounded in the ceremony, Foreign Ministry told APA. It was reported that Azeri Foreign Minister visited Turkey only to attend the wedding, and there was no official meeting. Mr.Mammadyarov is returning to Baku today.
A total of 300 guests were invited to the wedding. Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler, Turkish Armenians Patriarch Mesrob II and Istanbul Shishli municipality head Mustafa Sarigul and some other well-known persons were among the invitees.
