The first meeting of the accountants working in Azerbaijani diplomatic offices and consulates was held in the Foreign Ministry, the ministry’s press service told APA. The results of the inspections carried out in Azerbaijani diplomatic offices and consulates in 2004-2006 and annual reports of 2006 were analyzed, draft budgets for 2008 and the following three years were debated.
Report on transition to international accounting standards was made at the meeting.
Officers of Finance Ministry, Taxes Ministry and State Committee for Public Property Management participated in the meeting.
Solution of some problems in Azerbaijani diplomatic offices and consulates were also discussed at the meeting.
Corresponding decision was passed at the end of the meeting. /APA/
